#WCW: Lauren Weisman
Woman Crush Wednesday.
We love to celebrate female movers and shakers who are successful locally, nationally, internationally, and most importantly, personally.
This week (Happy National Women's Fitness Day!) we asked Lauren Weisman, founder of The Mama Method:
"What is your biggest advice for success?"
“First, I’m so honored to be a woman crush(!!!) Supporting women is my very favorite thing to do :) To the question, success is such a broad term that can be defined in so many ways. When I feel successful, I feel full professionally, like I am giving to the world in a way that satisfies my heart and lifts my spirit. Ultimately, it’s all about my lens. I can look at what I’ve accomplished and feel very underwhelmed and depressed or I can look at those exact same accomplishments and feel great pride in my contributions and my journey that has led me to where I am today. When I rest in gratitude, that powerful lens shifts toward positivity. So step one toward feeling the sweetness of success is the cultivation of your personal gratitude practice. Simply waking up and completing the phrase, “Today I am grateful for _________” is incredibly empowering.
